Shop and Support
The Sandusky District Library has partnered with Amazon.com in order to help generate additional revenue for the library — revenue that will be used to purchase additional library materials! By using this link to connect to Amazon, a percentage of the cost of the purchases made during your shopping session will be returned to the library. Eligible purchases include books, movies, music, electronics and more!
Commemorative/Memorial Gifts
Individual, friend, family or business gifts made in honor of or memory of a loved one offer a wonderful opportunity to remember that person in a special way.
Matching Gifts
If your employer offers a matching gift program, you may be able to "double your dollars" to the library campaign. Contact your human resource department for pertinent information before you complete your pledge card.
Planned Gifts
Designating a bequest in your will is another way to contribute to the library.
Donor Tree
Landscaping is as important outside the Sandusky District Library as well as inside. One item on display inside the facility is the Library Memorial Donor Tree. This tree was designed by Lyn Jacobs, the high school art teacher, and was created by Don Meissner, retired industrial arts teacher, and his friend Ralph Schrader.
Leaves have been placed on the tree in shades of bronze, silver, and gold. These leaves honor the individuals, families, and businesses that donated to the Love Our Library Capital Campaign project.
Securities
Gifts of appreciated securities are welcome and may provide tax advantages, depending on the donor's financial situation.
Real Property
Gifts of real estate, jewelry, and other real property are welcome.
